Recently, a new feature has been added in Whatsapp. According to some reports, Whatsapp has introduced a document banner feature which will help users to send and share files and documents along with contacts. This feature will allow users to send files without even leaving the conversation threads. This seems to be an important feature which the users will definitely enjoy. It will also allow the users to browse files and documents as well.
This brand new feature will be soon available for users in the next update according to source. The feature will allow users to share files with size upto 2 GB which is really great. Last year, this app had already rolled out big document size features, but it has been seen that there were users who were extremely lucky enough to use this feature.
Till date, it has been seen that users can share files with size upto 64 MB in Whatsapp. Also recently few reports came that Whatsapp is updating its android beta version as well which will allow whatsapp users to give longer group names & descriptions.
Howwver, this new banner feature is still under process and we don’t have any confirmed date as of now. Hopefully we can see this feature in the next update.
