American Vice President kamala Harris will return to her office on Tuesday since she has tested negative for covid-19, announced her spokeswoman on Monday. After testing positive for covid forCovid-19 almost a week ago, Harris is now fully clear.

Kristen Allen, press secretary of Kamala Harris said, “Today, the vice president tested negative for Covid-19 on a rapid antigen test. The vice president will return to work, in person tomorrow.” She added that the US Vice President will continue to wear a mask in public for the next few days.

The 57-year-old Harris went into self-isolation on the 26th of April. The rate of positivity has been increasing in the White House, her being positive only put a strong hold on the conclusion. According to a statement by the White House, she was asymptomatic and the US President Joe Biden was not considered a close contact.

Multiple Congresspersons have tested positive for covid in April. However, Kamala’s husband Doug Emhoff tested positive for the new strain in March.

In multiple public and press interviews, the White House has assured that the 79-year-old Joe Biden has not come across any possible covid patient, reassuring that he is completely fit and fine to carry on with his duties.
