Sonakshi Sinha lands in legal trouble over a fraud case, a non-bailable warrant has been issued against her.

The power-packed actress of Bollywood has been accused of not attending an event in Delhi. According to the sources, in 2018 she was allegedly paid Rs. 37 lakh in advance and yet didn’t show up to the event where she was a chief guest.  It is being alleged that Sonakshi’s manager refused to pay back the money to the event organiser. Thus, a non-bailable warrant has been issued against the actress.

According to a report in a news portal, the event organiser Pramod Sharma, who is a resident of the Katghar police station area of Moradabad, invited Sonakshi Sinha as the Chief Guest to an event in Delhi for which she was paid Rs. 37 lakh in advance. The actress however failed to attend the event. Later, Pramod asked for a refund of the said amount several times, but Sonakshi’s manager allegedly refused to pay. So, the event organiser filed a fraud case against the actress in the Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh.  While complaining to the police Pramod said that the said amount was transferred to Sonakshi’s account for her presence at the event but she did not turn up. Reportedly, Sonakshi Sinha traveled to Moradabad to record her statement regarding this case. Although, she didn’t attend the hearing, for which the court issued a warrant against her.
