Rihanna announces pregnancy after Superbowl performance

It has been confirmed by a representative for the singer Rihanna that she is expecting a baby following her high-energy performance at the Super Bowl halftime show. The performance occurred at the State Farm Arena in Glendale, Arizona, where the Philadelphia Eagles faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs. During her show, Rihanna sang and danced to some of her most popular hits, including “We Found Love,” “Where Have You Been,” “Diamonds,” and “Work,” and even dropped hints about her pregnancy on stage.

Rihanna is already the proud mother of a 9-month-old boy with rapper A$AP Rocky. Ahead of her Super Bowl performance, the Grammy award-winning artist revealed that she initially had second thoughts about participating, but motherhood motivated her to step up to the challenge. She said being a mom gives you the confidence to tackle anything, and performing on such a big stage as the Super Bowl was an exhilarating experience that she wanted her son to see.

One of the biggest difficulties for Rihanna was deciding which songs to include in her 13-minute set, drawn from her 18-year career. She said it was a challenge to choose the right tracks that would best celebrate her extensive catalog, but she felt they did a good job in making the final selection.
