People of London are observing the annual No Trousers Tube Ride 2023 by removing their bottom wear and getting out to do their usual routine.
The No Trousers Tube Ride first came into existence twenty years ago. It is a yearly celebration which is celebrated in a quiet and usual manner. This year, innumerable people commemorated the event and travelled pant less, riding in the subway and doing their day-to-day work without wearing pants.
This strange ritual was first observed in New York City in 2002. It was initiated by the comic performance art group Improv Everywhere. It is said that the group started the tradition as a harmless joke, and only seven people were involved in the practice. They pretended not to bother about anything and see one another. They travelled and boarded a subway train at seven conjugative stops. Ever since that, the strange practice came into being.
Every year, innumerable people from all around the globe perform the strange tradition. Since the tradition started, the event has spread to more than 60 places around the globe. It is widely observed in Germany, Australia, Tokyo, London, France, Romania, Toronto and much more.
